Welcome to the Candy Hearts Blog Hop for January! Today we are sharing projects made with new Sale-a-bration items. After reading my post, I hope you will hop to the next person on the list below. Be sure to hop around to see ALL the great projects the Candy Hearts have created for you!
Happy New Year! Happy Sale-a-Bration!!! This is my favorite event with Stampin’ Up! Who doesn’t love the chance to get FREE stamps?? With each $50 spent, you can choose one Level 1 item! And when you spend $100 you can choose a free Level 2 item or TWO Level 1 items!!!
I love all of the SAB items for this go-round, but the Daffodil Afternoon DSP (Level 1) REALLY speaks to me. So that’s what I chose to feature today! I hope you like it!

How I made it:
Cut & Score with Your Paper Trimmer:
- Mossy Meadow – 8.5″ x 4.25″, scored at 5.5″ on the long side
- Daffodil Afternoon DSP – black with white & pink daffodils
- 5.25″ x 4″
- 4″ x 7/8″
- Pear Pizzazz – 4″ x 2.5″
- Flirty Flamingo – 3.75″ x 2.25″
- Very Vanilla – 3.25″ x 2″
- Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5.25″ (for the inside panel)
Die Cut Using Hippo & Friends Dies:
- Largest Label – Pear Pizzazz
- Medium Label – Flirty Flamingo
- Smallest Label – Very Vanilla
Stamp with Daffodil Daydream:
- Using Mossy Meadow, stamp the geometric design on the 4″ x 7/8″ piece of DSP (the Pale Papaya side)
Stamp with Through it Together:
- Using Mossy Meadow, on the Very Vanilla label, stamp the sentiment “Don’t let worry spoil your happy”
Assemble the Card:
- Fold and burnish the Mossy Meadow card base
- Adhere the 5.25″ x 4″ piece of DSP (showing the black side with pink & white daffodils) to the card base
- Adhere the 4″ x 7/8″ stamped piece of DSP to the right side of the card front
- Adhere the 3 nesting labels, Pear Pizzazz on the bottom, then Flirty Flamingo and finally the Very Vanilla that has the attached sentiment
- Adhere these nested labels to the card front
- Tie a bow with the Flirty Flamingo Metallic Ribbon and adhere it centered below the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot
- Adhere three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Very Vanilla label
- As a final step, adhere the 5.25″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla to the inside of your card

Thank you, Lisa! This paper is just darling!!!
Such a sweet layout, Joanne! Love the panel across the side and the layering behind your sentiment. Those dies are the best!
Thank you so much, Brian! I too am a huge fan of the label dies in Hippo & Friends!!!
This paper is everything. I want to wallpaper my whole house in it…but I guess I will have to settle in cards 😂. Your card is gorgeous
I love it too, Pam!! Stick to cards though, that would be an ultra-expensive wallpaper job!! LOL
Joanne the daffodils in this DSP are beautiful, totally makes the card pop!
