This month’s Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! We are having so much fun with our new Sale-a-Bration products and are excited to share some of that fun with you today. This month’s projects feature papers or stamp sets (or both!) from Stampin’ Up!’s January – February 2022 Sale-a-Bration brochure. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I was so excited when I learned that we were featuring Sale-a-Bration items for the January Inking Royalty Blog Hop! There are so many exciting items that I almost had a hard timing picking!! I decided that in the midst of winter, it was time for some Sunshine & Rainbows!!!!

How I made it:
Cut & Score with your Paper Trimmer:
- Magenta Madness – 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″ on the long side
- Basic White – 5.25″ x 4″ (cut two this size)
- Basic White – 2″ x 3″
- Sunshine & Rainbows DSP
- 3 strips 1″ x 4″
- 1 piece 3 9/16″ x 4″
Die Cut with Brilliant Rainbows
- Cut the strip of rainbows along a 4″ side of one of the 5.25″ x 4″ pieces of Basic White
- From the 2″ x 3″ piece of Basic White, cut the tag with the. rainbows at the top
Stamp with Rainbow of Happiness
- On the Basic White tag with rainbows at the top, stamp the sentiment “You make this world a better place” in Pacific Point
Assemble the Card:
- Fold your Magenta Madness card base on the score line and burnish with your bone folder
- On the piece of Basic White with the rainbows on the edge, adhere your 3 strips of DSP, overlapping them to reveal about 1/2″ or so
- Add the panel of DSP over the remainder of the white, also overlapping that 3rd strip of DSP
- Use Stampin’ Write Markers to color the four rainbow lines – I used Magenta Madness, Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Mango Melody to go with the DSP that I chose
- Adhere the sentiment tag over the strips of DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Finally, adhere the 5.25″ x 4″ piece of Basic White to the inside of your card
I hope you have enjoyed this bright and fun card! Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Pam Morris of Tap Tap Stamp. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

What a cute card and I love the super creative sentiment panel!
This pattern on the larger DSP piece seems really loud to me. However, your brilliant use of the other patterns tones down the paper and the whole effect is awesome!
