Hello, hello! I hope you all had a lovely Labor Day Weekend!
Today I am bringing you a soft and cheerful card that is sure to make the recipient feel loved!
Here’s how I made it:
Cut & Score with your Paper Trimmer:
- Thick Whisper White – 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″ on the long side
- Just Jade – 1.25″ x 5.5″
- Whisper White – 1″ x 5.5″
Stamp Using Forever Fern:
- In Smoky Slate on the Thick Whisper White card base stamp several of the larger clusters of leaves
- In Smoky Slate on the Thick Whisper White card base stamp the cluster of dots across the very bottom of the card and approximately 2-2.25″ from the bottom also going across. Don’t worry, you’re going to cover up all that white space that is left!
- In Rococo Rose on the 1″ x 5.5″ strip of Whisper White stamp the sentiment “You Are Loved Completely”
- In Smoky Slate on the 1″ x 5.5″ strip of Whisper White stamp more of the cluster of dots
- On a scrap of Whisper White in Rococo Rose stamp 2 of the round leaf clusters
Die Cut Using Forever Flourishing:
- The two Rococo Rose rounded-leaf clusters
- From a scrap of Just Jade, one of the leaf clusters that is kind of triangular at the top
Cut Your Ribbon:
- Cut a piece of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Trim to 5.5″, then cut it in half length-wise, to make 2 pieces of Rococo Rose scallops that both have a small amount of linen remaining
- Cut a piece of Polka Dot Tulle to approximately 8″. Fold it in half and then tie a knot in the center. Cut the end that is a “loop” so that both ends have two lose strands. We will trim them later
Assemble The Card:
- Fold your scored Thick Whisper White card base at the 4.25” score line and burnish with your bone folder
- Using Tear And Tape, adhere the two pieces of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Trim to the back of the Just Jade strip
- Adhere the Whisper White strip to the Just Jade, centering it so that Just Jade and the Rococo Rose ribbon show equally on either side.
- Adhere the Just Jade die cut on top of the Smoky Slate leaves that you stamped on the card base
- Adhere the Whisper White/Just Jade/Rococo Rose strip over the Just Jade die cut
- Adhere the two Rococo Rose rounded-leaf die cuts over the strip and die cut, the furthest to the front of the bouquet
- Using a Mini Glue Dot, adhere the knotted Polka Dot Tulle over the stems of the Rococo Rose rounded-leaf die cuts. Trim the ends to angles
- As a final touch, add 3 silver Metallic Pearls randomly among the clusters of dots
